Jack has been associated with rowing in Chattanooga for 30 years. In addition to heading the Juniors program for most of its existence, he has also coached the UTC program from time to time. He also is President of Chattanooga Rowing and a member of the Board of Directors.

Heather started rowing as a novice at CJR the summer of 1999, as a freshman in high-school. She fell in love with it immediately. After she rowed for four years at CJR she proceeded to the University of Virginia on a rowing scholarship. She coached the summer program the last 4 years while still in college. And now after graduation, she continues to coach, now full-time, while also working full-time as a structural engineer at WorleyParsons in Chattanooga Tn.
