Rowing is a sport that appeals to people for a great many reasons.

Rowing can be a leisurely way to spend some time on the river or enjoy the company of friends. Rowing can also be a competitive sport where athletes compete locally, nationally, and internationally.

Here at C.J.R we focus on competitive rowing  and we can start you out.

Is Rowing For Me?

CJR offers programs for men and women of high school age and is the competitive outlet for youth rowing.

Currently our program includes students from over fourteen public, private and home schools.

These participants of diverse backgrounds learn valuable skills of teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship and athleticism.

Not sure if it's for you or want a head start on fall rowing? We offer a six-week Youth Summer Camp, "An Introduction to Competitive Rowing" designed to teach the basics of competitive rowing and offer a head start for anyone wanting to compete in fall high school rowing.

Joining the Team. CJR practices and competes year-round accepting new members each season. The number of members we can have is determined by the available equipment. The best time to join is during the summer camps where only a number of participants will be invited to be members of the fall rowing team. Joining during the other seasons is more difficult and usually has a waiting list. For more information on what we do each season visit our seasons page
